One of the biggest issues facing bonsai practitioners is lack of guidance after a tree is styled. After care and and a clear plan of action are crucial to sustaining your bonsai. With any work carried out on a given bonsai, plans will be laid out for the coming months.
Bonsai exhibition is the culmination of your efforts and an opportunity to promote the art. Whether you prefer to do styling of your trees or not, preparing for an exhibition to share your bonsai with the public comes with the responsibility of presenting it in the best light possible. Final prep. work and assistance with sourcing and layout of display elements is available.
My time in Japan as well as my previous career in the world of horticulture have allowed me to rack up a number of experiences and insights into applicable subjects for bonsai presentations. My interest and study of Asian flora and experience propagating and caring for the less common plants used for bonsai may help you jump a hurdle or two towards your goals. I’ve also had the privilege of photographing and studying countless excellent bonsai and have prepared presentations on different species and styles.
